Update: Playware has added many Social Media goals that includes new cards and racers as well. And if the game gets funded, they’re also looking to have a miniatures option. Currently they’ve unlocked asphalt tracks that will be printed on the reverse of tiles to give the game a more ‘race’ feel. Help them unlock more goals now!

Oddbods Go-Kards is Playware Studios’ 2nd Kickstarter game after their successful Avertigos – South China Sky campaign. Funding now on Kickstarter till Dec 12 2018, you can find their project here.

UPDATE: Their Kickstarter is now live!

Funding on Kickstarter from 21 August 2018 to 14 September 2018, Verge of War is a Sci-Fi Skirmish Wargame where various factions fight over territory in the Milky Way far in the future. Eventually featuring 10 different factions with their own unique way of playing, the Kickstarter will be focusing on the opening campaign where the forces of Humanity clashes with the forces of the Seit, a powerful race of insidious psykers. Now being funded on Kickstarter (ends Wed 18 Oct), Debtzilla is a strategic deckbuilding game designed by Singapore-based Capital Gains Studio where 2 – 4 players have to work together to beat monsters of mass financial destruction. In Debtzilla, players take on the roles of superheroes such as Angie Merkling, otherwise known as Iron Girl, to work and earn enough to help fight villains and monsters.

LCG Plays!: Co-op on All Out War

If you’re a fan of the Walking Dead series, you’ll remember this peculiar icebreaker that Glenn sends Rick through the radio before rescuing him from the tank back in season one. We wanted to take their relationship from there story-wise and test their partnership in a co-op game of Walking Dead; All out War.

Avertigos – A 3D Boardgame with Flying Ships

Now being funded on Kickstarter (ends Sun Sept 24), Avertigos is a tabletop miniature and board game hybrid that involves some 3D elements. 2-5 players are inserted into an alternate history of our world where 2 factions, the Dynastic naval armada and the Singasari League, fight for control of the South China sky using ships. The game is being done by Playware Hobbies, a local Singapore company. Currently, the game has two game modes: Skirmish and Strategy.

Playing Age of Sigmar: What’s new and joining the local community

It’s Saturday afternoon and Gamersaurus Rex, a shop that specializes in tabletop games alongside Upper Thompson road is brimming with activities. Beside one table stood three of us, deploying our neatly painted armies on the battlefield littered with palm-sized ruins, buildings, trees and hills. The day’s warfare was to be over an artifact of power; represented by a coin-of-sort we found lying around the shop.

Fellow authors of this page, Russel, was playing his blood knights from the death alliance while EZ rallied his army of Skavens (mutated rats) and plague-ridden and festering Nurgles. I was playing Khorne Bloodbound – warriors that worship Khorne, the God of Violence and Hate.
